The Government Capital Domain Police Command has protected a youthful lady from a suspected outfitted burglar and ritualist. The command has too commenced a manhunt for the suspect. This was made known in an explanation shared by the FCT Police Open Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, on X (once Twitter) on Sunday.
Concurring to the articulation, the occurrence happened at a lodging within the Wuse locale of Abuja, where 25-year-old Guarantee Eze from Ebonyi State was found tied to a little chair, her mouth secured with mortar.
She was oblivious and in trouble when officers arrived at the scene on January 31, 2025, taking after a trouble call from inn staff. The casualty was surged to Wuse Area Healing Center, where she recaptured awareness.
Preparatory examinations uncovered that the casualty had checked into the lodging on January 30 with a man who distinguished himself as Emmanuel Okoro from Lagos State. In any case, she afterward unveiled that they had met online, where the suspect claimed to be an oil company worker from Delta State.
The explanation said, “The Government Capital Region (FCT) Police Command has effectively protected a youthful lady from the clutches of a suspected outfitted burglar and ritualist, propelling a prompt manhunt for the escaping suspect.
“On January 31, 2025, at around 11:30 AM, the Command got a trouble call from lodging within the Wuse zone of the FCT, announcing suspicious movement in one of their rooms.
“Responding quickly, police agents arrived at the scene and found a 25-year-old lady, Guarantee Eze, from Ebonyi State, tied to a little chair with her mouth secured in mortar. She was found oblivious and in trouble. Officers acted promptly, liberating her from confinement and hurrying her to Wuse Locale Healing Center, where she was revived.
