Agbu Kefas recently hosted Hyacinth Alia in a historic meeting aimed at strengthening peace and security between Taraba and Benue states.

Visit to the Aku Uka of Wukari

During his visit to Wukari, Governor Hyacinth Alia paid a courtesy call to the traditional ruler of the area, His Royal Majesty Dr. Ishaku Adda Ali, the Aku Uka of Wukari.

The visit provided an opportunity to brief the royal father about the purpose of the meeting and the broader efforts to strengthen collaboration between Taraba and Benue.

Traditional institutions continue to play a vital role in promoting peace and dialogue within communities.

Following their discussions, the two governors conducted an on-the-spot assessment visit to communities recently affected by attacks.

The delegation visited Abako and Chanchanji communities, where residents have experienced security challenges in recent times.

The visit allowed the governors to interact directly with residents and better understand the situation on the ground.
