Your Excellency, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Today is October 8 and exactly one month to November 8 governorship election, and I write to you with the deepest sense of admiration, solidarity, and loyalty from the hearts of Ndi Anambra—your people who daily draw inspiration from your unmatched vision, tireless leadership, and uncommon devotion to the service of our beloved state.
This piece is, in the simplest of terms, a welfare check—a note of gratitude and of reassurance from the people whose destiny you have chosen to carry on your shoulders. We hope that after another demanding week of governance, projects, and political engagements, you have found some quiet moments of rest with your beloved family. For even the most tireless leaders deserve to breathe, to smile, and to be reminded that their sacrifices are seen, felt, and deeply appreciated.
Governor Soludo, the truth remains that you have not just governed; you have transformed the very rhythm of governance in Anambra State. You have built systems where chaos once reigned, erected order where decay once prevailed, and infused the state with an audacious vision that bridges the wisdom of yesterday with the promise of tomorrow.
It is with gratitude that we, the citizens, have taken judicious note of your efforts, of your measurable and undeniable results. From the construction of durable rural and urban roads that link communities once forgotten, to the reformation of our education system and the revival of our public health institutions, your handprints are everywhere—visible, deliberate, and transformative. You have made public service look like a calling again, and you have given meaning to the word “Solution.”
We have observed how you have worked day and night, not as a man seeking applause, but as one driven by the inner conviction that governance must leave the people better than it met them. We have seen your eyes burn with passion at public events; we have listened to your voice shake with conviction as you outline your Dubai-Taiwan Marshall Plan—that master blueprint that positions Anambra as a future hub of industrialisation, digital innovation, and urban excellence in Nigeria.
Indeed, we remain eternally loyal to that Dubai-Taiwan vision. It has become more than a policy document—it has become a covenant between a visionary leader and a hopeful people. It has given Ndi Anambra a renewed sense of destiny and identity. The idea that our state can become a centre of global excellence, built not on oil, but on intellect, discipline, and technology, is one that resonates deeply in every patriotic heart. We have internalized that dream, and we assure you, Your Excellency, that we will guard it jealously.
In the days and weeks ahead, as the re-election campaigns intensify, we want to remind you that the people have been doing their homework. We have balanced your records and weighed your performance against that of other aspirants, and the conclusion is unanimous—you are miles away and ahead in every positive way imaginable.
While others talk, you have acted. While others make promises, you have delivered. While others seek power for its own sake, you have used power as a tool for service. The difference is clear, and it is resounding across every town, every market, and every ward.
From Awka to Nnewi, from Agulu to Oraifite, from Onitsha to Omor, the testimonies are the same—Soludo is working. We have seen the new roads stretching into forgotten communities, the streetlights brightening our nights, and the new schools and hospitals that restore hope to the poor and the vulnerable. We have seen how you have taken up the difficult but necessary task of reforming our public finances, ending waste, and insisting that every kobo must count.
You have shown rare courage in decision-making and rare humility in leadership. You have faced criticism, not with bitterness, but with clarity and grace. You have demonstrated that governance is not about drama, but about delivery; not about noise, but about results.
Your Excellency, as citizens, it is our moral duty to not only hold our leaders accountable but also to appreciate them when they rise to the challenge of leadership. And today, we want to say thank you—for your service, your sacrifice, and your sincerity of purpose. We know it has not been easy. We understand the pressures that come with the office you occupy. We know that governing a state as complex, dynamic, and ambitious as Anambra requires more than intelligence—it requires heart, and you have demonstrated that in abundance.
Beyond governance, we also extend our heartfelt greetings to the First Lady, your children, and all who stand by you in private moments. They, too, bear the weight of your public duty, and they deserve our collective prayers. May God continue to keep them safe, grant them good health, and fill their hearts with peace as you carry on the demanding mission of rebuilding Anambra State.
Your family’s quiet support has been the silent backbone of your public service, and we acknowledge it with gratitude. Please let them know that the people of Anambra hold them in the highest esteem and that they are always in our thoughts and prayers.
To the members of the Solution Team—your commissioners, advisers, aides, and the thousands of volunteers and supporters who have keyed into your vision—we also send a message of encouragement. We see your dedication. We appreciate your efforts. We know that you work under pressure, yet with determination. We assure you that we will never give up on our collective mission to return this administration to power on November 8th.
The upcoming election is not merely a political contest; it is a referendum on progress, a test of continuity, and a choice between light and regression. And Ndi Anambra, having tasted what true governance feels like, will not choose to go backwards. We will vote, not because of party sentiment, but because of results, integrity, and the clear direction that Soludo represents.
We will mobilise, door-to-door, heart to heart, from market women to youth groups, from teachers to artisans, to ensure that your re-election is not just achieved but achieved resoundingly. We will not rest until the Dubai-Taiwan Plan is secure for the next phase of implementation.
Your Excellency, leadership is often lonely, but today, let this message remind you that you are not alone. The people are with you. The silent majority who go about their daily work with faith in the future are behind you. The elders who have watched your consistency from academia to the Central Bank to politics believe in you. The youths who see in you a model of excellence and purpose trust you. The traders, the farmers, the artisans—all see in you a governor who listens and delivers.
Rest well, Sir, whenever you can. Know that Anambra stands solidly with you. We, the people, are the witnesses to your legacy and the custodians of your dream.
May God continue to strengthen you, guide your decisions, protect your household, and bless Anambra State under your leadership.
With loyalty and gratitude,
For ndi Anambra.
