The Lagos State Service of Youth and Social Advancement in collaboration with the Residential and Sexual Viciousness Office has protected a nine-year-old young lady purportedly attacked by one Baba Michael.
The state Commissioner for Youth and Social Improvement, Mr Mobolaji Ogunlende, uncovered this in an articulation on his official X handle @ Mo_ogunlende on Saturday.
He said that the affirmed ambush was put at the suspect’s home at 4, Azeez Ademola Road, off Anishere, Ayobo. “This was in reaction to a viral video posted by Comedienne Princess, who raised caution to inform the open of the revolting occurrence.
“The survivor has been set in defensive guardianship, and she is getting fundamental restorative care and mental back through counseling, ” he said.
Concurring to him, the charged culprit has been secured and is right now in care, with DSVA taking care of the lawful procedures to guarantee equity is served.
Ogunlende said that the quick intercession by MYSD and DSVA underscored the Lagos State Government’s immovable commitment to ensuring the rights and well-being of all inhabitants, especially powerless people in our society.
